I currently work as a senior software architect at a financial software company. I am polyamorous (open to multiple romantic relationships) and I live with baerana, my primary of 12 years, an amazing woman I will be spending the rest of my life with. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, role playing games, and hanging out with friends. (I'm one of those rare geek extroverts )

There are four boxes to use in the defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, ammo. Use in that order. - Ed Howdershelt

To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. - Theodore Roosevelt

Naturally, the common people don't want war.... Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. - Hermann Goering

Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle. - Thomas Jefferson

The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, and intolerable. - H. L. Mencken

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual. - Thomas Jefferson

The only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community, against his will, is to prevent harm to others. His own good, either physical or moral, is not sufficient warrant. - John Stuart Mill
